ClickUp connects to Cooperly for managed roadmap folders, Lists, and tasks, optional Pulse and Fundamentals posts in ClickUp Chat, and, in beta, read-only Cooperly context for ClickUp Brain and Super Agents.

Why teams connect ClickUp

ClickUp is often where delivery, task ownership, and team updates already live. Cooperly brings its roadmap and people context into that surface without making ClickUp the source of truth for Cooperly signals.

The integration does two jobs. Cooperly writes managed roadmap tasks and team announcements into ClickUp, and ClickUp Brain and Super Agents can ask Cooperly about the team before they write tasks, comments, or assignments.

What the integration does

Cooperly can create and update managed ClickUp roadmap work inside the mapped Space, using a managed Folder, horizon Lists, and tasks from Cooperly roadmap items.

If a mapped Chat channel is selected, Cooperly can post Pulse and Fundamentals updates. Through the Agent MCP connection, Brain and Super Agents read team and member context from the Cooperly teams an admin has shared. The agents make changes with ClickUp's own tools; the agent connection cannot change anything in Cooperly.

  • Map each Cooperly team to one ClickUp Space.
  • Choose Chat routing only for teams that should receive Cooperly posts.
  • Keep evidence in task descriptions off unless the mapped ClickUp destination is appropriate for that information.
  • A workspace-wide ClickUp connection uses the Cooperly permissions of the person who authorized it, so share only the teams everyone in that ClickUp Workspace may read.

Why it matters

ClickUp work becomes more useful when roadmap tasks and team updates reflect current Cooperly context, while operational control remains inside the ClickUp workspace.

Configure

    Enable ClickUp in Cooperly

    Turn on ClickUp for the account so workspace access, team mappings, roadmap sync, and Chat posts can be configured deliberately.

    Connect the ClickUp workspace

    Complete ClickUp OAuth, then refresh metadata so Cooperly can read active Spaces and optional Chat channels.

  3. 03

    Map teams to Spaces and Chat

    Choose the ClickUp Space for the managed roadmap. Add a Chat channel only when Cooperly should post Pulse or Fundamentals updates there.

    Choose sync settings

    Enable roadmap sync, Pulse Chat posts, Fundamentals Chat posts, and evidence in task descriptions only for teams where those outputs should appear.

    Connect ClickUp Brain and Super Agents (beta)

    Enable Agent MCP in Cooperly. Every active team is shared at first, so turn off any team that should stay private. Then add Cooperly in the ClickUp browser app under App Center → MCP Servers → Add Custom MCP Server, and sign in with Cooperly.
